LMS Portals includes an intuitive, embedded quiz building module that allows you to easily create and manage assessments as part of your course content. Quizzes help reinforce learning, evaluate comprehension, and ensure your learners are absorbing key concepts.
You can add any number of quizzes to a course and place them within the appropriate modules to align with your instructional flow.
Step-by-Step: Creating a Quiz
Name the Quiz:
Start by giving your quiz a clear, descriptive title that reflects the topic or module it covers.Set a Minimum Passing Score:
Define the percentage score required for learners to successfully pass the quiz. This helps you measure learner competency and track completion criteria.Add Quiz Questions:
LMS Portals currently supports two question formats:Multiple Choice: Learners select the correct answer from a list of options.
True/False: Learners choose whether a statement is correct or incorrect.
For each question, you’ll:
Enter the question text
Provide answer choices (and mark the correct one)
Optionally add explanatory feedback for each question, which will be displayed when learners review their results
Organize and Save:
You can edit, delete, or rearrange quiz questions at any time. When you're ready, save the quiz and it will be available as part of the designated module in your course.
Why Use LMS Portals Quizzes?
Immediate Feedback: Learners receive their scores instantly and can review correct answers (with explanations, if provided).
Flexible Placement: Quizzes can be positioned at the end of any module or at key learning checkpoints throughout the course.
Performance Tracking: Quiz results are recorded in the platform’s reporting dashboard, making it easy for administrators and supervisors to monitor progress and outcomes.
Tip: Quizzes are a great way to break up content-heavy courses, promote engagement, and ensure that your training delivers measurable results.
